Salma Hayek is still hot, and at 44 she shows no signs of slowing down. In a recent interview with Allure the actress talks about what it’s like to be a sexy mother. From her boobs, “They’re not bad, by the way. I’m not complaining about them” to sex, “as a woman, you should be more at ease with your sexuality when you are in your 40s,” Hayek is proof that life, and love, can get better as time goes on.
Inspired by Hayek’s lack of fear around sex and aging, I put together a list of reasons why sex gets even better after 40.

Women are more adventurous as they get older. When we’re more comfortable with our partner, we’re more open to sexploration.
We feel more comfortable communicating our needs to our partners, especially as we stay together longer.
Sex isn’t just about intercourse. When we’re younger that seems to be the focus, but as we get older we tend to slow down the seduction, and that leads to lots of things, like extended foreplay.
