Bad Sexual Chemistry Is a Relationship Dealbreaker
Many women (and some men, too) fall in love and think they can “fix” the person they’re with. He may have bad hair, she may smoke, he could snore at night or wear the wrong clothing. Most of these problems can be dealt with, but there some that cannot and sexual chemistry is the biggest.
A recent letter to The Daily Mail relationship expert asks this very question: Can a relationship survive when you have everything in place but the good sex? The answer, sadly, is a resounding no. If the sex is bad, the relationship must end.
Oh I know. I can hear the groaning from here. But the answer holds firm. Try as you might to believe otherwise, sexual chemistry is an absolute deal-breaker in a relationship. It may seem shallow, but it really isn’t. (more…)

Sex Can Make You Look Younger
Did you know that a healthy sex life can keep you looking younger? In fact, a healthy sex life could be seen as the fountain of youth, says a study from the Royal Edinburgh Hospital. It reveals that women who have sex at least four times a week were scored as looking up to 10 years younger than their natural age.
However, more than 1,000 women aged 18 and above suggests this doesn’t count for very much. Making love a few times a week is reckoned to be sexually healthy, but only one in three women were having sex a few times a week, and two in three were having sex once a week. (more…)
Sex is the Best Way to Boost Happiness
Making love boosts happiness more than anything else, a new research has found. The “Mappiness” project, which was run by researcher George MacKerron in conjunction with the London School of Economics, asked more than 45,000 Apple smart users to record their activity, location and happiness up to five times a day via a special application.
They received more than three million responses over more than a year and the results were fed into a so-called hedonimeter that tracked the nation`s mood minute by minute. The researchers found that Christmas Day was the happiest day of the year and people were the most content at 1.50 pm on 25th December.

The study of young adult men and women revealed that men thought about sex on an average 19 times a day. Some of the men, however, recorded 388 sexual thoughts a day. (more…)

Today, Dr. Pulkit Sharma, Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalytical Therapist at Vimhans Hospital, Delhi, unravels the mystery of why bad sex is equal to a bad relationship.
Bad sex as a mirror of relationship crisis: In many couples who come for counseling with complaints of sexual intimacy, it is often seen that bad sex is just an expression of deep-seated issues in the relationship. Either one or both partners harbor rage, envy and resentment towards each other and this gets mirrored in their sex life. Since sexual intimacy involves opening up to the other person, these people resent it. In such cases a change is possible by working on emotional and psychological issues. (more…)
